VERIZON WIRLESSS: Verizon Wireless will pay $1 million to reimburse New York State customers after a state investigation found the company had cut off some subscribers to its “unlimited” mobile Internet plans for overuse. New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo’s office said the company had also agreed to pay a fine for marketing its NationalAccess and BroadbandAccess plans as “unlimited” without disclosing that the plans prohibited movie downloads and online game playing and carried monthly usage caps.

GEICO: is sponsoring the second annual “Bikers for Tikes” motorcycle rally on Oct. 27 to raise money for Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Virginia Beach, VA.
