PEPPERIDGE FARM: is extending its fruit cookie line with a new variety. The company is adding Montieri cookies to its collection, tart-like cookies with fruit filling baked inside. The item, now available in stores, comes in three flavors: Apple Tart, Raspberry Tart and Peach Tart. The firm is also expanding its Verona line with Blueberry and Apple Caramel flavors.
STEVE AND BARRY’S: has teamed up with CBS Consumer Products, a division of CBS Entertainment, to launch a line of apparel from popular TV shows, including “Beverly Hill 90210, “Cheers,” “Happy Days,” “Laverne and Shirley” “Little Rascals,” “Melrose Place,” “Taxi,” “The Andy Griffith Show,” “The Beverly Hillbillies,” “The Brady Bunch,” “The Love Boat” and “The Twilight Zone.” Merchandise is expected to hit stores later this year.
