SUBWAY: will be the primary sponsor of the No. 20 Toyota Camry in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for three races in 2008. The Home Depot’s logo will be on the car’s quarterpanels, with Subway’s name on the rest of the car. Subway will use the sponsorship to plug its Subway Fresh Fit Menus at the race tracks.
WHEATIES: is rolling out limited-edition packages of its cereal featuring Jarrod Shoemaker, a 25-year-old triathlete from Sudbury, MA. The 16.5-ounce boxes, which are available in Iowa and Boston, are part of the company’s Breakfast of Champions tradition to honor elites athletes. This marks Shoemaker’s first appearance on a Wheaties package, and the second time the company has featured a triathlete. Hunter Kemper appeared on boxes in 2007.
