PAYLESS SHOESOURCE: and Nickelodeon have signed a multi-year licensing deal to create a new line of Blues Clues footwear. The collection, which rolls out in stores in November, will include styles for boys and girls. Payless children’s footwear design team will design three to five styles, and the company will market and sell the items through its 4,500 stores and on http://www.payless.com.

CARTOON NETWORK: will air the latest CGI animation Lego mini-movie, “Lego Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Brick” as a four-minute commercial “event” in its Cartoon Network Toonami programming block on May 10 at 9 p.m. The event will be hosted by Shia La Beouf, one of the stars in the upcoming feature release “Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Cartoon Network will plug the event with on-air spots a sneak preview on its Web site, http://www.CartoonNetwork.com.

WOMEN’S NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION: extended its relationship with Hannspree with the launch of the Hanns-G ‘Go Beyond’ rookie program to put WNBA rookies in the spotlight. The program includes a series of Hanns-G Rookie Awards, a Hanns-G branded section on the WNBA Web site and the Hanns-G ‘Go Beyond’ Fan Challenge. Fans can submit photos to demonstrate how they’ve ‘gone beyond’ to support their team for a shot at two VIP tickets to the WNBA finals.
