MARS NORTH AMERICA: is giving its 12,000 associates in North America the chance to volunteer this week during the work day in their communities. The effort, part of the Mars Volunteer Program, will focus on youth enrichment, hunger relief, animal welfare and the environment—four areas that reflect the company’s confectionery, food, pet care products and health and nutrition businesses. This week, employees will help refurbish animal shelters in Franklin, TN, ready summer campgrounds in Hackettstown, NJ and pack good bags for homeless and at-risk elementary school kids in Henderson, NV, among other tasks.
WRESTLEMANIA: has given the grand-prize winner of the Custom WrestleMania XXIV Chopper Sweepstakes, a custom built WrestleMania XXIV Chopper. The winner, Wyatt Crawford of Lexington, MI, submitted one of 33,000 entries. The sweeps took place in March leading up to the big event, WrestleMania XXIV, at the Florida Citrus Bowl in Orlando.
