New York Woman Wins $25,000 Jeopardy Google Challenge

Who is Shirley Seaman? She is the grand prizewinner in the Jeopardy Google Daily Challenge.

Seaman, a 29-year-old homemaker from of Greenfield Center, NY, was one of nearly 150,000 people who registered for the promotion. In the online sweepstakes, players used Google to find answers to daily questions for a chance to win daily cash prizes.

Seaman took the $25,000 grand prize. Two other winners, Janice Johnston, 43, of Lindale, GA, and Arthur Davis, 63, of Albany, GA, each received $10,000 and $5,000, respectively. Winners were randomly selected from sweepstakes entries.

The six-week promotion was the first between Sony Pictures Television and Google (Promo Xtra, June 4, 2007).
