TeleTech Holdings Inc., Denver, had net income of $5.5 million for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 1998, up 13% from fourth quarter 1997’s net income of $4.9 million. Revenue for the fourth quarter of 1998 increased 35.8% to a record $108.3 million, from $79.8 million in the 1997 fourth quarter.
Net income for the year ended Dec. 31, 1998 was $19.2 million, an 11% drop from 1997’s $21.3 million. Revenue for the year was $369.1 million, a 32% percent increase over 1997 revenue of $279.1 million. About 60%, or $56 million, of the 1998 annual revenue increase came from new clients, with the balance coming from growth in TeleTech’s existing client base.
