Annuncio Software, Los Altos, CA, has been selected by Netscape Communications Corp., Mountain View, CA, to facilitate its marketing automation and one-to-one marketing programs. Annuncio will initially work with the company’s NetCenter division, facilitating the information gathering process from members of its 10-million-name e-publication database.
The program will allow Netscape to create new marketing vehicles, and to provide targeted information to advertisers who want to reach a specific group based on demographics or interests. The program is going into beta testing in first-quarter 1999, and will be rolling out live campaigns in second-quarter 1999
