NetGravity, which makes software for online advertising and direct marketing, reported a net loss of $2.7 million on revenue of $4.2 million for the fourth quarter ended December 31, 1998. In fourth-quarter 1997 the company had a net loss of $2.5 million on revenue of $1.9 million for the same period in the previous year.
For the year, the net loss was $11.3 million on revenue of $11.6 million, as compared with a net loss of $6.9 million on revenue of $6.4 million in 1997. The revenue increase was 82%.
