The National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) has launched an electronic marketplace platform for its more than 10,000 member companies and sister associations, providing the information, tools and services they need to conduct business over the Internet.
The service, called the Universal Business Exchange, http://www.unibex.com, enables companies to post business offers, conduct research, procure products and make deals. It consists of integrated marketplaces, including the virtual tradeshow, product showcase, offer exchange and auction house; e-commerce enabling tools and services’ and support services that claim to allow companies to securely consummate deals and complete business transactions.
