MyFamily.com Inc., an online ancestral information subscription business, has acquired Genealogy.com, producer of family tree software, for an undisclosed sum.
Genealogy.com joins the Provo UT firm’s network of Web sites–Ancestry.com, MyFamily.com, and RootsWeb.com– that have more than one million paid subscriptions.
“We’re excited to bring these two strong companies together to better serve consumers and the genealogy community,” said CEO Tom Stockham in a statement.
