Later this month, “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” will distribute 30 million sweepstakes scratch cards via Valpak envelopes across the nation.
The sweeps – offering home viewers the chance to win a total of over $1.5 million in prizes – will run every weekday from Feb. 8 to May 28, when host Meredith Vieria will announce a new winning answer during broadcasts of the game show. The Valpak mailings begin Jan. 25; daily individual prizes will range from $1,000 to $100,000.
Viewers with game cards that match the winning answer will win whatever cash prize is shown on their game card. Viewers can also go online to www.millionairetv.com to request a game card.
“This is the highest paying home game that we’ve ever had on Millionaire,” said “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” executive producer Michael Davies, in a statement.
The show, produced by Valleycrest Productions Ltd. and is distributed by Disney-ABC Domestic Television, is in its eighth season.
