MetroGroup, a direct mail services company, will close its Rutland, VT plant in December, laying off 204 employees, confirmed company spokesman Michael Shea late Thursday.
He cited operating efficiencies as the reason for the closure.
The Lincoln, NE-based company has two other production facilities, which will not be affected, Shea noted.
