Meijer Stores to Boost Licensed Jeep Products via Sweepstakes

Jeep Consumer Products is teaming up with Meijer to run an in-store promotion and sweepstakes to promote its new licensed camping equipment.

Starting in June, Meijer stores will feature in-store displays of Jeep’s new branded camping equipment, including sleeping bags, tents and duffels. The new products will also be featured in a summer book that rolls out June 15 showcasing other items, such as luggage, strollers and pet products.

“It’s an opportunity to promote the outdoor products department and drive traffic to other departments,” Debra Joester, president and CEO of The Joester Loria Group, the licensing agency of record for Jeep Consumer Products.

Meijer will launch a sweepstakes at the end of June to support the product launch. Customers enter the sweeps in-store for a chance to win a trip to the Grand Canyon. The grand-prize includes a four-night stay, airfare and a Jeep safari adventure for four.

In-store signage and circulars will promote the sweepstakes. Freeman PR will handle PR efforts.
