MDR Purchases Education List Division from MKTG Services

Market Data Retrieval (MDR) has acquired MKTG Education Services for undisclosed terms. The list business acquisition includes all account management, customer service and data assets of this division from MKTG Services.

“We know that MDR, a longtime leader in education information, is the ideal company to acquire our education business and support our clients’ education market needs,” said in a statement Stacey Girt, senior vice president of MKTG Services.

MDR plans to integrate its education market database with the database it has acquired from MKTG. It plans to match, verify and add data elements to the combined database within the next 90 days.

More than 13 million names segmented by types of products purchased are currrently available on MDR’s education market database, featuring information on the K through 12, college and library markets.

The acquisition also includes MKTG’s InfoBuyers database product line, consisting of consumer and business-to-business buyers lists in the education market . Enhancements to the InfoBuyers database are planned in the next few months.

Contractual and other documented special pricing arrangements between MKTG Education Services and clients will be honored by MDR for the next 90 days, according to Fady Khairallah, president of MDR.
