Romano’s Macaroni Grill is out with three separate contests asking patrons to choose their favorite menu items for a chance to win a private dinner.
Visitors to myamore.macaronigrill.com can pick their favorite dish from the menu and submit an essay in 250 words or less explaining why that item is their favorite through April 27.
The second contest runs April 28 through Sept. 14 and a third contest runs from Sept. 15 through Feb. 8, 2009. Submissions will be based on essay creativity, demonstration of a passion for food and the description of the situation in which the food was enjoyed.
One grand-prize winner will receive a private four- course dinner at a local Romano’s Macaroni Grill Restaurant with nine friends prepared by a Romano’s Macaroni Grill chef and a $500 Romano’s Macaroni Grill gift cards. The top 50 winners will receive $100 Macaroni Grill gift cards. The company also plans to post several stories online.
Five first-prize winners in the second and third contests will each receive a $50 Romano’s Macaroni Grill gift card.
Online marketing and in-store signage supports the promotion.
