L’Oreal Face Washing Stations Let Students Try Cleanser

One of the long-proven means of getting consumers to buy a product is to let them try it. One of those products is a new facial cleansing collection from L’Oréal Paris.

The beauty brand is on tour visiting 10 college campuses around the country where it is setting up mobile face washing stations where college students can try its Go 360 Clean deep facial cleansing collection.

The tour, designed to build brand awareness and trial, began March 17 at California State University and ends April 27 at the University of South Florida, In between, stops include Arizona State University at Tempe,
University of Mississippi, George Mason University, Emory University and others.

The “Go Beyond Clean College Campus Tour,” managed by Legacy Marketing Partners, uses a branded Airstream trailer and two battery-operated Global Electric Motorcars driven by trained product specialists who invite students to use mobile face washing stations and enjoy a two-minute upper back massage and a professional makeup application.

Additional activities include free morning yoga classes, evening study break snacks, a local sweepstakes to win a touch screen computer and viral wakeup calls that encourage students to start their days with Go 360° Clean and to tell their friends. Full-size product samples, branded spa headbands and $1 retail coupons will also be distributed to students.

Go 360° Clean is a collection of four cleansing formulas for all skin types that features a “Scrublet” cleansing tool.
