Information technology could have helped prevent the 9/11 terrorist attacks, according to former President Bill Clinton.

Many of the terrorists were listed on consumer databases like those of infoUSA, exhibiting characteristics that in hindsight could have raised red flags, Clinton said, speaking at the Donnelley Information Privacy Forum in Aspen.
