LISTS UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT

F+W Publications Portfolio
MeritDirect has been selected to represent a dozen magazine subscription lists and two master files for F+W Publications Inc., effective April 15. The U.S. master file contains more than 1.1 million names, while the Canadian master file has more than 25,000. Individual files are available for subscribers to such titles as Horticulture Magazine, Popular Woodworking, Scuba Diving, Writer’s Digest and The Artist’s Magazine, with counts ranging from 213,000 to 102,000. Some smaller files include Family Tree Magazine, Memory Makers and Watercolor Artist, among others. Updated data cards are pending. Specialists Marketing Services Inc. has been managing these files. CKMedia Magazine Lists
Specialists Marketing Services Inc. recently assumed management of a portfolio of lists for CKMedia Inc. These include subscription lists for the scrapbooking magazines Creating Keepsakes, Paper Crafts and Simple Scrapbooks, with counts ranging from 72,000 to 138,000. Other files identify subscribers to quilting and sewing magazines. The source is primarily direct to publisher. Millard Group Inc. was the prior list manager.

NEW LISTS

Kalmbach Master Files
Kalmbach Publishing Co. has released data cards for three master files comprised of magazine subscribers. The Kalmbach Publishing Men’s Hobby master file is the largest with 192,000 names. It consists of subscribers to American Snowmobiler, Classic Toy Trains, Classic Trains, Finescale Modeler, Garden Railways, Model Railroader, Scale Auto Enthusiast and Trains. Kalmbach also offers a new master file for women’s crafts, and one for arts and sciences.

National Call Center Institute
The National Call Center Institute has introduced lists of executives who work in human resources, information technology and sales and marketing. Counts range from 53,782 to 58,681. Postal and telemarketing records are available for targeting these conference and seminar attendees. Direct mail is the source. Selections: State/SCF/ZIP
