Active Response Group Gets $10M for Online Lead Generation
Active Response Group, an online lead-generation services firm, received $10 million in venture capital financing. The company produces opt-in list data via Web sites and other online means.

The money will be used to accelerate growth and differentiate the NewYork-based firm’s products and services, according to CEO Brad Powers. Hercules Technology Growth Capital Inc. provided the financing.

Goldleaf Data Offers List Appending

Data wholesaler Goldleaf Corp. is offering new appending services for list owners, brokers and list management companies that resell data under
different list titles.

Goldleaf compiles new telephone-connection data used for assembling marketing lists. Its DMdata master file is comprised of 150 million new telephone connection records, sourced from telephone companies.

Goldleaf recently started offering names, postal addresses, geographic and
other data for list selections to be appended to other files–its own telephone connection list and those from other sources.

Such data can be added, for example, to lists of phone numbers that
retailers capture at the point of purchase to create new postal lists, said
vice president of sales and marketing Jason Butler.

Goldleaf will supply additional demographic data for list appending within a few months, Butler said.
