List Vet James Thulin Accused of Attempted Murder

James E. Thulin, president of list management/brokerage company TCI Communications Inc., has been accused of attempted murder, assault and other charges by the Los Angles County District Attorney’s office, Direct Newsline has learned.

A pre trial hearing set for Dec. 10 in Los Angeles County Superior Court In Van Nuys, CA, before Judge Jessica Silvers, according to Thulin’s Los Angeles attorney, Mark Werksman.

Werksman said his client is innocent of all charges.

Thulin declined comment on the case.

According to a felony complaint requesting an arrest warrant, Thulin attempted to murder Andrew Solmessen on July 17. In addition, Thulin committed “assault by means likely to produce great bodily injury” and “aggravated mayhem” against Solmessen, the July 29 complaint alleges.

The complaint also states that Thulin committed first degree burglary by entering “an inhabited dwelling house and trailer coach…occupied by John Peter Cherpas with the intent to commit larceny.” It also charges that Thulin assaulted Leonardo Fernandez.

Finally, Thulin committed “battery upon doctor or nurse with injury” against Mark Baltau, whom he “reasonably should have known was a nurse and there engaged in rendering emergency medical care,” the complaint continues.
