Lillian Vernon Corp. will relaunch its Web site in September, just in time for the busy Halloween and Christmas seasons.
The Rye, NY cataloger and marketer has selected Ann Arbor, MI-based Fry Inc., an e-commerce design, development and managed services firm, to create the site.
Lillian Vernon’s Web site will include flexible system interfaces that integrate with its current infrastructure and can accommodate future changes. Fry will develop a system architecture that is scalable and extendable.
The 53-year-old company currently publishes six catalog titles: Lillian Vernon, Rue de France, Favorites, Lilly’s Kids, Personalized Gifts and a sale catalog.
In fiscal 2003, Lillian Vernon mailed approximately 102 million catalogs in 23 editions.
An average order from the catalog runs $56.85. The company shipped more than 3.8 million packages in fiscal 2004.
