Letters to the Editor

[Re: Loose Cannon: How We Lost Moscow, Direct Newsline, Monday, November 12, 2007]:

I, as usual, thunked some more and want to add a few more points.

1. Can the University accept mail and then legally refuse to deliver it? I don’t think so.

2. The mailers who have sent catalogs to students and faculty at the University of Iowa in the past, and who have a record of their sales, should sue for deprivation of income.

3. Failing this, they could make a deal with the University: No catalogs for the University to handle and a check for the mailers. A win/win for both sides!
