Re: Loose Cannon: When Good Money Goes Bad, June 24, 2002

………and the choir said, “Amen!”

Boy, did you nail this one (actually, you always nail everything you address in “Loose Cannon”)!

Your point could also apply to airline tickets. Why do they have an expiration date? If I have a $340 ticket and I want to apply it two years from now for a ticket that costs $560 why can’t I just pay the difference, plus the fee for changing? And the airlines wonder why they can’t get the customers flying again. (Hint: think “lots of hassles” not “fear”).

Your Loose Cannon always makes me laugh!

Cheers,
