TOM, TOM, TOM

I like Tom Collins and agree with him most of the time. But there’s a time to make over and a time to chuckle (The Makeover Maven, July).

Juniper Networks’ WSJ cartoon is one of a series. The company’s Juniper.net Web site features a prominent link above the fold to its cartoon page, filled with lots of hilarious cartoons in a fun, interactive sales-oriented presentation. I chuckled quite a few times (though maybe I’m just a techno-geek).

Bravo to Ray Schultz and Direct for standing shoulder-to-shoulder with Tom Collins. The advertising community needs his knowledge (badly!!), and the letters you receive prove this. I’m glad you didn’t give in, but most of all I’m glad Tom didn’t give in.
