I thought this was an interesting coda to the political telemarketing issue:

Since before the primaries, we’ve been getting 5-6 calls a week from the nice Republicans reminding us that Democrats take Osama to tea, want to diamond-encrust the Washington Monument to waste money, and of course, have poor hygiene. So I called the NRCC and the NRSC directly and asked them to put us on their internal do not call lists. And it’s been silent ever since. So something works — I’m just not sure what.
