Interactive marketing was named as the hottest issue going into 2000 by 35% of respondents who attended the Promotion Marketing Association meeting held in New York this week.
Privacy concerns were cited by 32% of respondents as the second most commanding issue and sweepstakes legislation was identified by 13% as “marketing issue of the millennium.”
Some 400 in-house counsel, firm attorneys and promotion marketers were surveyed at the annual Promotion Law Conference.
