Lands’ End Inc. reported net income of $45.9 million for its fourth quarter, a 44% increase over $31.8 million last year.
Total fourth quarter revenue was $596 million, 10.3% ahead of $538.6 million in the same quarter a year ago.
Net income for the year was $66.9 million, a record 93% increase over $34.7 million in the prior year. Total revenue for the year was $1.6 billion, a 7.3% gain over with $1.5 billion for the prior year. The quarter and year ended Feb. 1.
The Dodgeville, WI-based company attributed its quarterly results to an 11% full-priced merchandise sales increase and a 40% Internet-based revenue jump to $120 million from $86 million last year.
