David McCreight, formerly president of Lands’ End, will join Under Armour Inc., an apparel, footwear and accessories firm. McCreight is expected to join Under Armour in September, at the company’s Baltimore headquarters.
At Under Armour, McCreight will manage the company’s operations, including its direct to consumer and wholesale distribution channels. He will report to Kevin Plank, Under Armour’s CEO and chairman. Plank had formerly held the president title.
At Lands’ End, McCreight had been responsible for shifting the Sears Holding Corp. unit from its focus on its domestic catalog business to a multinational, multichannel concern.
