Cataloger and retailer L.L. Bean, Freeport, ME, has started a new brand, L.L. Home. The brand will serve to reinforce the company’s existing home-furnishings line.
L.L. Home will create and distribute its own catalogs, which will fall into three areas. The Textiles catalog will offer bed-and-bath fabrics. The Furnishings catalog will augment the company’s Mission and Cottage furniture lines, as well as offer bedroom, dining and furnishing accessories. The Outdoor Livings book will feature products suitable for both backyards and beach houses.
The first Textiles catalog, Furnishings for Your Bed and Bath, was introduced last week. Other L.L. Home catalogs will debut throughout the year.
