Kellogg Brings Box-Top Rewards to The Internet

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

Cereal giant the Kellogg Co., headquartered in Battle Creek, MI, has brought traditional box-top promotions to the Internet with its new loyalty program at http://www.EETandERN.com.

The program, EET and ERN (eat and earn) allows consumers to earn points and redeem them for toys, sporting goods and school supplies. The companies who have signed on as the program’s first partners include fogdog.com, Schoolpop.com and toysmart.com. Kellogg will promote this program online, and via television and print.

To participate, consumers can retrieve special 15-digit encrypted codes found inside Kellogg’s cereal boxes and sign up on the site. Once done, they will have an account in which codes carry a point value. Consumers can collect and/or redeem the points for products from partner sites.
