Web platform development firm Kahzam, Inc. will acquire TeCoup.com LLC, a firm which provides SMS text coupons. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
TeCoup’s technology offers its clients text messaging directly to target markets’ cell phones.
“Through an affiliate company we have priority access to nearly twenty million double-opt-in cell phones, providing a dynamic means of reaching laser-targeted prospects,” Kahzam’s president and COO J. Franklin Bradley said in a statement.
Bradley continued, “With TeCoup, we now have a new technology for delivering discounted coupons to these willing recipients, along with a real-time mechanism that allows them to take advantage of these coupons.”
Kahzam is majority-owned by GroupMolinari, a private investment banking firm that specializes in the financial services, media and marketing industries.
