Jos. A. Bank Clothiers Inc. reported sales for the month ended Aug. 31, 2 were up 20.3% to $14.3 million compared with $11.9 million last year.
Combined catalog and Internet sales increased 11.3% and . comparable store sales increased 14.6%.
For the seven months ended Aug. 31, , total sales increased 15.7% to $121.9 million over $105.4 million last year.
Combined catalog and Internet sales rose 27.5% over last year while comparable store sales increased 5.6%.
“We have had an outstanding start to our Fall season,” said CEO Robert N. Wildrick, in a statement. “Sales increased in every major product category, and were especially strong in suits, shirts and sportswear.”
