Jaclyn Acquires Assets of Banner Industries
Jaclyn Inc., West New York, NJ, which markets ladies’ handbags, apparel and related products, has acquired certain assets of a division of Banner Industries of New York Inc., maker of sportswear and dresses sold to catalog companies.
Under the terms of the transaction, Jaclyn acquired the work-in-process, piece goods, raw materials and customer orders of Banner Industries’ catalog business, as well as that division’s accounts and customer orders. The acquired assets also include the trademarks and tradenames of Banner Industries, including “Banner,” “Banner Industries,” “Banner Industries of New York” and “Jean Stuart.”
In addition, Jaclyn acquired certain office equipment, furnishings and fixtures located at Banner’s New York City showroom, which will now be operated by Jaclyn.
