Interpublic Posts Net Income of $69.1 Million

Interpublic posted net income of $69.1 million for the fourth quarter, compared to a net loss of $22.9 million in the prior-year period.

The advertising agency conglomerate reported revenue of $1.88 billion for the quarter ended Dec. 31, a 1% decline from revenue of $1.9 billion last year.

The New York company attributed these results to lowering expenses such as salaries.
