Direct marketing services provider Inktel Direct has launched Inktel Direct Government BPO Services. The new unit will provide outsourced business process functions to local, state and federal governments.
“Government agencies face many unique operating challenges not found in the private sector,” said Ricky Arriola, Inktel Direct’s president and CEO, in a statement.
Separately, the company named Joel Steigelfest its chief information officer. In this role, Steigelfest will manage the firm’s IT department.
Prior to joining Inktel Direct, Steigelfest was VP and chief technology officer for Spherion, a staffing and recruiting firm. He has also held IT management and executive positions at Seet Paper Sales, IBM, Ryder and Kemper Insurance.
