InfoUSA’s Sales Genie Reappears

Posted on by Chief Marketer Staff

InfoUSA has relaunched its Sales Genie system as an online subscription-based sales lead tool. Previously, Sales Genie leads had been available only in disc format, with subscribers receiving quarterly updates.

Under the new system, small business marketers receive unlimited access to Omaha, NE-based InfoUSA’s file of 250 million individuals and 14 million companies for a $250 monthly fee. Leads can be downloaded as needed. The fee includes two licenses.

The system allows marketers to store prospect names online, and will automatically update them as new information becomes available. InfoUSA adds do-not-call-list information to its files daily and provides weekly updates of new-mover and new-business information, according to vice president of product design Kathy Sullivan.

The system’s Contact Manager feature serves as an online lead-management tool. Marketers may add contact names whenever they choose, schedule follow-up contacts, add notes, map their contacts’ locations, print mailing lists or labels or send e-mail directly from Contact Manager. Marketers may even add pre-existing personal address books to their Contact Managers.
