InfoUSA will compile a business database of companies within the United Kingdom, and has added four new sources of business information on companies within the Chinese, Australian, Zealand and Singapore markets.
The U.K. effort will be based in Manchester, England. Through a series of telephone surveys and by mining publicly available data, the company plans to augment the file with trading address, owner and manager name, employees per location, Web site addresses, number of years in business, and whether the location is part of a larger company.
Separately, OneSource Information Services, an infoUSA company, has added four new sources of data to its Asia-Pacific data offerings. The new information adds 150,000 new company profiles.
The new partners include Xinhua Finance, a Chinese financial information and media service provider; IncNet, a big business database that focuses on companies located in Australia and New Zealand; DP Information, a credit and business information bureau based in Singapore; and BMI (Business Monitor International), which focuses on emerging market companies.
