– 97 percent of consumers look for local businesses online

– 73 percent of consumers go online to search for discounts or promotions

– 73 percent of small businesses use Facebook, while 61 percent use LinkedIn, 55 percent use Twitter, 47 percent use YouTube, 44 percent use Google+, 22 percent use blogs and 20 percent use Pinterest

– 91 percent of small businesses use social media to share news about their business, while 90 percent use social media to share news about products

– 85 percent of small businesses are increasing their use of email in 2013
