Infographic: Loyalty Rewards

Zendesk, a customer service software and support ticket software provider, put together an infographic about the importance of loyalty rewards. The company says loyalty rewards are marketing tools that encourage people to become repeat customers (e.g., punch cards). But brands also need to focus on providing great products, services or customer service to foster loyalty.

Among the bits of noteworthy information included in the infographic are:

  • Quality, customer service and price are the top three things that make consumers loyal to a brand
  • 78 percent of consumers say they show their loyalty by spreading the word and telling others, while 69 percent say they show their loyalty by buying more
  • 54 percent of consumers say they would consider increasing the amount of business they do with the company for loyalty rewards
