Infocore Inc. has formed a partnership with South Stop Marketing Specialists, a data company based in the Philippines. The arrangement gives Infocore access to a database with consumer and business-to-business lists from more than 70 countries, including postal and e-mail addresses.
South Stop Marketing Specialists maintains a database that includes postal records for 13 million businesses and 7.6 million consumers, besides 7.5 million consumer and 9.2 million business e-mail addresses, according to Tom Mack Jr., vice president of list management at Infocore, a list management and brokerage firm based in Carlsbad, CA.
Infocore will serve as the U.S. manager for the international database. It plans to release data cards in coming weeks for more than 20 consumer and business-to-business segments, including lists of buyers, donors, business travelers and business professionals. Mack added that arrangements for future release of text messaging lists are pending.
About 25 lifestyle selections will be available on consumer files from China and Africa, a level of data segmentation typically not found in emerging economies, he says. Sources for the data include purchase transactions, telemarketing and surveys.
U.S. demand for lists from emerging markets is strong and growing, particularly for e-mail and business-to-business files, according to Mack. Companies are looking for growth opportunities outside of the U.S. because business at home has slowed considerably.
