The Hudson Valley Direct Marketing Association and Mercy College have formed a partnership to share resources to benefit the direct marketing industry, both locally and nationally.
As part of the agreement, Mercy College will provide such resources as educational expertise for seminars and support in conducting research. HVDMA has begun a scholarship fund to benefit Mercy College’s direct marketing students.
The college’s direct marketing program faculty includes Pierre Passavant, who previously ran the direct marketing program at New York University. In his role as corporate relations advisor he will work to promote the program to the business community and as a resource for direct marketers, HVDM said.
Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY, offers a masters of science in direct marketing, a 36-credit program which can be completed in 18 months in the classroom or online. Mercy is the only U.S. college offering the complete program online, HVDM said.
HVDMA programs include seminars, panel discussions and other luncheon events. They are open to members and non-members alike, and offer a great opportunity for learning and networking.
