Eli Chalfin, who had been the head of DoubleClick’s DART Mail division, will now spearhead business development at the New York Internet network advertising company.
Initial reports said that Chalfin had resigned as vice president and general manager of the DART Mail division and had left the company this week after a reorganization that folded his unit into the Technology Solution division, led by senior vice president David Rosenblatt.
In his new role, Chalfin will continue to answer to CEO Kevin O’Connor and remain a member of the executive team. He has been named vice president of business development and will work on a number of new products, not restricted to e-mail, said Jennifer Blum, DoubleClick spokesperson.
No one has yet been named to lead the DART Mail area, DoubleClick’s suite of e-mail products.
