Harland Clarke Holdings Corp. posted net income of $14.6 million for the second quarter, compared to a net loss of $37.5
million for the same period last year.
The direct marketing services company reported revenue of $457.4 million for the quarter ended June 30, an increase over $339.6 million.
The Decatur, GA firm attributed this primarily to its acquisitions of John H. Harland Co and Data Management which collectively accounted for $107.9 million of this increase.
The company reported net revenue for its Harland Clarke segment of $329 million for the quarter, an increase over $276.3 million in the prior year. Management attributed this to both the acquisition and higher revenue per unit.
