Scott McCreary has been tapped to serve as chief operating officer of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. McCreary will be responsible for the Waterbury, VT-based firm’s operations, sales & marketing and management information systems departments. He will report to Bob Stiller, the firm’s president and CEO.
McCreary was previously senior director of operations at Ben & Jerry’s Homemade, Inc., a division of Unilever North America.
In addition to its retail outlets, Green Mountain sells its coffee through a direct mail business and through an e-commerce Web site.
