GourmetMarket.com, a San Francisco-based e-commerce company for food, wine and kitchenware products, has joined up with Batnet1 (Business and Trade Network) to offer members of the affinity program discounts on GourmetMarket.com’s offerings.
The terms of the deal call for the two entities to create a co-branded version of GourmetMarket’s site that will offer Batnet1’s 80n affinity groups, representing 22 million customers, specialized opportunities.
Batnet1 offers programs by which affinity groups that want to incorporate online shopping into their member Web sites can do so without devoting the resources to generating such a service themselves.
