Internet service provider, Freeinternet.com filed for Chapter 11 protection with the U.S. District Court in the Western District of Washington, Seattle Division, according to news reports.
The company said that its 3 million plus registered users will not experience service interruptions during the reorganization.
A call placed to the company’s headquarters in Federal Way, WA, was not returned.
