After a lengthy review, Reed Exhibitions has consolidated more than a dozen advertising and design agencies that market its exhibition and conference business into four agencies of record.
The firms are: CPS Direct Inc., Boston, Snyder Communications and Outhink both based in Connecticut and I2i Communications in New York.
The account is worth about $10 million in total billings, Nancy Shenker, Reed Exhibitions senior vice president of marketing said yesterday.
“The agencies we chose have a wonderful mix of the right experience and capabilities as well as an attitude that is compatible with who we are,” Shenker said in a statement. “We needed strong business-to-business and direct response experience in both strategy and execution, combined with great creativity.”
To help build conference attendance for Reed Exhibitions, CPS Direct will create integrated direct marketing programs to include print advertising, e-commerce, direct marketing and telemarketing. Account billings for CPS’s portion of marketing is “well into” the seven figures, Bruce Wagoner, senior vice president and account director for CPS, said in a statement.
The other firms could not be reached for comment.
