Food Lion Reaches Agreement with Brand Coupon Network

Grocery retailer Food Lion has entered into an agreement with the Brand Coupon Network (BCN) to provide consumer-printable coupons through weekly e-mail broadcasts, offering Food Lion the capability to target name brand and private label offers to loyalty card shoppers, redeemable only at Food Lion stores.

The program by Metairie, LA-based BCN, is designed to increase store traffic. Food Lion LLC is a subsidiary of Delhaize America, the U.S. division of Brussels-based Delhaize Group.

BCN, working with New York-based Big Foot Interactive, distributes Food LionÕs e-mail broadcast program.
