Fila Taps New Marketing Officer

Fila USA has named Stefano di Martino as its chief product and marketing officer for the Italian sports brand, effective immediately.

In his new role, di Martino will oversee global brand marketing, as well as all product design and development. He replaces CMO Robert Erb, Chief Marketing Officer, who left Fila to pursue other opportunities. Erb joined the company in 2003.

Before taking the job, di Martino worked as a managing director for Fila since 2005. He will work in Milan, Italy, Fila’s regional headquarters.

The sportswear firm said it plans to focus on positioning Fila as an Italian sports brand. That theme will continue in future marketing campaigns, the company said.
